MORETTO AT PACK PASSION WEEK: IMPROVING THE SUSTAINABILITY IN PET AND RPET PREFORM PRODUCTION

Padua-based Moretto was among the speakers at the 2021 digital edition of Pack Passion Week, the event dedicated to the world of PET running from March 9 to 11. On 10 March Gene Flockerzi, general manager of Moretto Usa, presented a paper with the title “Enhancing Sustainability: drying control and process verification on preform production.”

CHANGE IN THE GENERAL MANAGEMENT OF THE SACMI GROUP

The Sacmi Group announced the appointment of Mauro Fenzi as new general manager. In March he took over from Giulio Mengoli, who has, for personal reasons, considered it appropriate to terminate his employment. Despite all the difficulties caused by Covid-19, the year 2020 still saw Sacmi achieve good results in terms of operating margins and cash flow generation.

ELAV EXPANDS FACILITY

ELAV, part of Gruppo Colines Holding since 2007, designs, manufactures and reconditions industrial automation systems for the production of plastic films and cables. The company has just completed the expansion of their facility in Cameri (Novara), building a brand-new production area of over 2,100 sqm in order to satisfy the constant and continuous production increase. A few months ago, they started their new Mechanical Division (eMech),dedicated to the production of extrusion lines for cables.
