ELBA AND SALDOFLEX: AN ALL-ITALIAN CONVERTING PARTNERSHIP

Two long-standing companies and world leader in the manufacture of plastic processing and printing machines, Elba and Saldoflex recently signed a partnership agreement that defines and outlines new synergies in the converting market, both in Italy and abroad.

ELAV EXPANDS THE PRODUCTION AREA

Part of Gruppo Colines Holding, Elav keeps going from strength to strength. The company has been designing, manufacturing and reconditioning industrial automation systems, especially for the production of plastic films and cables since 1981. Elav officially became part of Gruppo Colines Holding in 2007.

SIPA AND PTI ENTER INTO STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP

Sipa and PTI reached an agreement to join forces on the market, with PTI now becoming part of the Sipa group. This strategic partnership will help both companies to increase their visibility and create new business opportunities. “Joining forces with Sipa makes perfect sense for PTI. We bring extensive knowledge in package development and material expertise to their capabilities’ portfolio,” said Thierry Fabozzi, PTI CEO.

OERLIKON ACQUIRES INGLASS TO ACCELERATE EXPANSION STRATEGY IN POLYMER PROCESSING MARKET

Oerlikon, a leading provider of surface engineering, polymer processing and additive manufacturing, signed an agreement to acquire Italy-headquartered INglass and its innovative hot runner systems technology operating under its market-leading HRSflow business. The strategic acquisition is a significant step in expanding Oerlikon’s current manmade fibers business into the larger polymer processing market.
